What is PicoSure?
PicoSure is a skin treatment that utilizes advanced laser technology to rejuvenate your skin and help you create new healthy skin cells. PicoSure stimulates collagen and elastin production and plumps and firms your skin to give you a younger-looking complexion.
PicoSure technology uses a unique wavelength of light and a specialized lens to convert laser energy into gentle pressure. What can I expect during my Picosure treatment?
During your Picosure treatment, you wear protective eyewear that’s designed to protect your eyes from the light. There’s no special preparation and the procedure typically only takes around 10-15 minutes.
Dr. Lee can provide numbing cream to minimize any discomfort. Most people don’t experience any pain and describe the treatments as feeling like a rubber band lightly snapping against the skin.
Dr. Lee gently guides the Picosure handpiece over the area and delivers the laser energy to your skin.
You might need multiple treatments for the best results, typically around two to five. Treatments should be spaced between two to six weeks apart. Many people return for touch-up maintenance treatments every six months.
What can I expect after my Picosure treatment?
